Summer Immersion in
Costa Rica

Welcome to Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a country in Central America bordered by Nicaragua, Panama, the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea with 800 miles of coastline. With the several islands belonging to the country, over 25% of its territory are national parks with one of the greatest density of species in the world. It is one of the most stable countries in Latin America, an example of political stability in Central America. This course includes trips to the Monteverde cloud forest, the Poas and Arenal Volcanoes and a trip to the Atlantic beaches. It also includes numerous visits to social and cultural agencies and organizations.

Please Note: This is a Faculty Led program and responsibility lies with the faculty director and his or her department. IPC supports the program by providing training and orientation support for the program directors.
