Summer - ISA Buenos Aires, Argentina: Intensive Spanish Language

Overview

Studying abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is an exciting experience. If you are hoping to immerse yourself in one of the liveliest and culturally diverse cities of the world, then this is a great choice for you! The program is suitable for students looking to advance their Spanish language skills or are interested in Latin American studies.

Academics

Designed for students who are eager to learn and/or better understand the Spanish language, the Intensive Spanish Language program gives students the opportunity to participate in courses offered through the Universidad de Belgrano's language department. While in class with other international students, you will focus on Spanish conversation, culture, and grammar, and be taught by Argentinian faculty. This program is open to students at the beginning, intermediate, high intermediate, and advanced Spanish proficiency level.

The Latin American Studies program, also offered at the Universidad de Belgrano, is for students at the advanced level of Spanish and provides an opportunity to learn about the cultural aspects of Argentina and Latin America.  Students will take two classes taught in Spanish: Argentina Literature and Culture and Civilization of Latin America.

UNCG students can earn between 7 - 8 credits from these summer programs. The Intensive Spanish Language course runs between late May - mid June and mid June - mid July. Classes for Latin American Studies run between mid June - late July.
