Summer - ISA Meknes, Morocco: Arabic Studies, International Relations & Language

Overview

Meknes, one of Morocco's historic imperial cities, is home to a beautiful blend of the Arab, Amazigh, Jewish and French cultures that compose modern Morocco. With its myriad opportunities for exploration, Meknes provides an ideal setting for studies abroad. Students have the option to choose from a variety of courses in many disciplines such as political science, Middle Eastern studies, gender studies, Arabic language, religious studies, international relations and more.

Academics

Through collaboration with the ISA Meknes Study Center, UNCG students can earn between 6-8 credits from the available summer programs in disciplines in political science, Arabic language and culture, religious studies, international relations, and more. Students interested in the intensive Arabic language course will take a full course load of language classes, including Introduction to Moroccan Arabic (Darija), an Arabic language course, and Arabic for diplomacy, international relations, & politics.

The different summer tracks are available from mid May -  late June (option 1 and option 2), late June - early August, and mid May - late July (option 1 and option 2).
