Summer - ISA Port Elizabeth, South Africa: Environment and Global Health

Overview

Studying abroad in South Africa gives students the opportunity to challenge themselves academically while taking advantage of the unparalleled environmental surroundings. With a deep history rooted in political and socioeconomic controversy, South Africa makes you aware of current events and how you can impact the world around you. 

Courses offered over the summer include marine biology, zoology, environmental studies, and sustainable development studies and others. Click here for more information.

Academics

Through courses offered at Nelson Mandela University, this summer program offers UNCG students an opportunity to study South Africa's diverse land and sea environments and the unique relationship and history of modern and traditional medicine in South Africa.

  • UNCG Study Abroad Application Fee             $350
  • Mandatory UNCG Int’l Health Insurance      $100
