Summer - ISA Rome, Italy: Global Health

Overview

Studying abroad in Italy gives you the opportunity to take health classes internationally and experience the warm people, outstanding cuisine, beautiful landscapes, artistic works and historic wonders that make Italy such a wonderful destination! 

Through this summer program, students have numerous opportunities to develop their academic and professional careers in Global Health while closely experiencing the Italian language and culture. The program focuses specifically on Global Health and Epidemiology as well as Health Policy and Management for Universal Coverage.

Academics

Hosted at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome, UNCG students can earn 6 credits from this program, which typically runs from mid June - mid July. Courses are offered in Global Health and Epidemiology as well as Health Policy and Management for Universal Coverage.

Housing

Different housing options available to students include apartments and independent housing. More details can be found here.

  • UNCG Study Abroad Application Fee             $350
  • Mandatory UNCG Int’l Health Insurance      $100

  • All figures are estimates only and subject to change
  • UNCG requires all students to have international health insurance while they are abroad. Host institutions may require students to purchase additional insurance.
