Summer - ISA Valparaiso/ Vina del Mar, Chile: Business Internship, Spanish Language & Latin American Studies


Overview

Chile offers exciting study abroad opportunities for UNCG students in two of its most vibrant cities of Valparaiso and Viña del Mar! This exciting summer program is ideal both for students who are looking to advance their Spanish language proficiency and students who simply want to knock off Gen. Ed. courses in international business, history, political science and more, which are taught in English.

Academics

Through collaboration with Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV) and Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI), UNCG students can earn between 6-16 credits from this summer program. Spanish Language & Latin American studies are offered between mid May - late June, mid May - late July, or late June - late July. Courses in business, science and others are offered between mid May - late June. 

If you’re interested in learning Spanish, then you will also have the option of enrolling in Spanish language and culture courses. There is no prior language experience required, however, students who possess an advanced Spanish proficiency level are eligible to enroll in courses with local Chileans in a variety of subjects.

  • UNCG Study Abroad Application Fee             $350
  • Mandatory UNCG Int’l Health Insurance      $100

  • UNCG requires all students to have international health insurance while they are abroad. Host institutions may require students to purchase additional insurance.
